E2E Passport Update 07-02-2008

As soon as we get time from our busy workload, we intend to overhaul the E2E Passport website. This will mean a host of new features and a new pricing structure for all users. Scheduled completion by September 2008. Watch this space

Server Unavailable 04-12-2007

We are aware that the MITAC Partnership Ltd web server was not available from 12.31pm until 16.25pm on 3/12/2007. The power supply to the server was interrupted due to maintenance work being carried out by Pipex our service providers.

We apologise to all providers and learners unable to access their Passports during the down time. We would remind you that this is a VERY infrequent occurrence. Please call the Helpline if you would like more information.

E2E Passport Online Induction Self Study 20-06-2007

The programme, introductions and support materials for the E2E Passport Online Induction programme have been packaged into a simple self study module. The package is free and available on application to all registered or trial users of E2E Passport Online. Please use the Contact Form or email help@e2epassport.com to request the package.

Update
Please note that these materials are only relevant as an introduction to the E2E Passport Online system.

Verisign Security Certificate 01-02-2007

As s part of our continuing efforts to improve security, we have installed a new digital certificate to verify that all data sent and received from E2E Passport Online is encrypted. Encryption makes it impossible for a third party to intercept data as it travels over the Internet.

When you log in to the Passport system on or after 1st February 2007, you will notice a padlock appears at the bottom of your browser window. Verisign verifies E2E Passport to be a secure and trusted system.

Please call the E2E Passport Helpline (0191 280 4812) if you would like more information or experience any problems connecting.

Break in Service 24-01-2007

We are aware that Pipex who host our web server, experienced major connectivity issues across their network between 2.20pm and 2.45pm. Although this appears to have been resolved, connection to E2E Passport during this time would not have been possible. If you still have an open connection (ie have not logged off or been timed out) the data transfer on Save / Save As may have picked up when service was restored. Otherwise try the recovery procedure - search Updates for "timeout".
