LiveWire for Learners
MITAC Partnership Ltd is pleased to announce LiveWire - a Passport mini-site designed to explain E2E Passport Online to E2E learners.
Passport Project Manager, Ian Reid, thinks the new site is well-timed. "We have lots of resources for managers, tutors and key workers, but nothing specifically for young people. If we want learners to be active users of E2E Passport, then they must understand it. This site will help."
Livewire is part of the main Passport support site but can run as a separate website in its own right. It includes:
- a simple slide show that answers questions about E2E and Passport Online
- a contact form to ask questions or to tell us about your experiences on E2E
- details about E2E Passport forms and activities
- links to find information that will help you with things like what to do after E2E and payments and expenses
- a login to let users look at their own Passport.
Ian beiieves it is important to try and involve E2E learners in the new site. "We have created a new part of the site we call Stuff for learners' own thoughts, questions and experiences. If existing E2E learners respond to this, they could become powerful advocates for the E2E programme itself." April (2006) Archives
