Updates - RSS Feed
Updates from the Passport website are now available via an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed. The feed is available from http://www2.e2epassport.com/rss/passport_rss.xml. You will need to do one of the following to access it.
- Make the .xml link into a "livemark" using the Firefox browser. Opera and Safari (v2) browsers also support RSS feeds but you will have to find out for yourself how to create the link. Current versions of Internet Explorer do NOT support this feature as far as we are aware.
- If you have a Mac running MacOs 10.4, a good option would be to track down and download a Dashboard RSS news reader widget. If you are a Windows XP (or MacOS 10.3) user wanting a similar dashboard approach, download and install Konfabulator and then downlload and use the "DIY Make News Feed" widget.
- Final option is to download an RSS News Reader program. Most cost about $25-$30 and are available via download. See BBC website for details - address below. However, Awasu Lite is free to download and seems to work well enough. Check out Awasu
If you would like more information on RSS go to the BBC website - BBC also provide a brilliant range of RSS feeds.
Unless you are a Mac User or are using Firefox browser, your best option is Awasu.
