E2E Passport - Overview - Offline / OffPen

Offline / OffPen

Passport Offline was designed to allow a Passport Adviser to download individual learner Passports from their caseload to a laptop computer.

Once a Passport is on the laptop, the Adviser can continue working with a learner whilst not connected to the internet. When offline working is no longer required, the updated Passport is uploaded back to the main online system.

There is now also an early version of Offline, OffPen, running from a DataPen. We believe this will give Advisers and Key Workers more flexibility using Passport where there is no internet connection.
