APIR
The Connexions APIR Framework provides a structure within which Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Review takes place in the Connexions context. The Framework comprises of 18 factors regarded as a key part of the assessment process, representing the full range of factors that may impact on young people making a successful transition to adult life.
Why Use It?
APIR is a tool that should only be used by trained Connexions Personal Advisers. It is not a tool intended for E2E Providers.
Key Features
- a quick assessment can be made of each of the 18 APIR factors using the drop-down menu under the factor title
- each factor can be explored further using the Add Detail option
- data entered is preserved from session to session
- the form can be partially completed and returned to later to review and update
- the Help file provides information for completing this activity as well as advice for advisers / key workers supporting the learner
- on Save data collected is used to produce the APIR “wheel”. This can be printed.
Please Note
You will need the Flash plugin to draw and print the wheel output.
An import feature is in preparation that will allow data (XML format) from another database to be loaded into a learner’s Passport.
