IAS
Initial Assessment Summary (IAS) aims to provide a summary of the information gathered during the initial assessment process (4-8 weeks) with the young person, in relation to their learning and support needs. This information may come from a variety of assessment tools and activties not directly related to the Passport.
Why Use It?
In many respects, the Summary is a staging point between assessment activities and completing the Programme Plan. With needs comprehensively assessed, questions in the Progamme Plan will be easier to address.
When Is It Useful?
The form should be completed during the initial assessment process as information is gathered. It will be reviewed as a whole with the young person, at the end of the process prior to the preparation of the E2E Programme Plan
