Views
Views is designed to help the learner find out about how well they function in personal effectiveness (soft) skills areas like confidence, appearance and punctuality.
Why Use It?
Views is designed to provoke disscussion as it is completed and to help the learner engage with skill areas that are more difficult to assess. The Graphs produced after three sessions provide useful data for further review.
When Is It Useful
Aim to complete Views as soon as Passport is started. This will provide a starting point. Subsequent completions of Views will allow measurement of progress over time - what some call \"measuring distance travelled\".
Key Features
- A series of radio buttons define a scale between two opposite statements.
- The leaner click to indicate which statement they are closest to.
- Views keeps a record of each completion. Previous completions can be viewed from a History page.
- Views must be completed, but a Save Draft option allows the activity to be split between two or more Passport sessions.
- New on the History page will start a new set of data for this activity.
- Resume Draft will let you complete a previously saved draft
- On Save data is presented as a series of bar charts showing current, previous and initial completions of the activity. The graphs can be printed.
Graphs
Views needs to be completed three times to be able to draw the bar charts from current, previous and initial sessions.
